Jag Bike Program

Travel in and around IUPUI, SUSTAINABLY!

A bike is one of the best ways to get around campus and the city. All members of the IUPUI community have access to a TON of bike-friendly amenities to help you ride, park, or even get a bike safely on campus; boosting your confidence along the way!

This campaign, known as Jag Bike, is a way for these amenities and perks to be laid out nicely in one place.  Here, you can be directed to any campus bike services, such as bike registration, maps, event info, the Jag Bike Rental Program, and more.

As a Bike Friendly University, IUPUI is committed to creating, enhancing, and promoting accessible means to sustainably travel to and from campus for the benefits of the health and environment of all its campus community members.

Jag Bike Program

The Jag Bike Rental Program is a campus-led bikeshare system. Students can apply to receive a rental bike for rental on a per-semester basis. Upon reading the program guidelines and filling out the application, students can receive a bike to use on and campus!

Our fleet of bikes uses (whenever possible) parts from abandoned bikes reclaimed each year. When you receive your rental bike, you keep it for as long as your term lasts. That means you can keep it locked in your dorm or apartment and use it to go to class, meet up with friends, grab groceries and more!

IUPUI is a Bicycle Friendly University

The League of American Bicyclists has awarded IUPUI a Bronze-level Bicycle Friendly University designation. Colleges and universities applying for the designation are reviewed holistically to determine an institution's work to promote the Five E's of bicycling – engineering, education, encouragement, evaluation, and equity.
