Greening IU Indy Grant

Take your sustainability idea to the next level

Are you an IU Indianapolis student, faculty, or staff member that has come up with a way to positively impact campus sustainability? Submit your idea, and you could win a Greening IU Indy Grant to make it happen.

Greening IU Indy Grants are awarded one time per year to projects that advance campus sustainability and help IU Indianapolis meet the goals outlined in the IU Climate Action Plan. IU Indianapolis dedicates a total of $25,000 annually to fund these projects.  

Application Information

Eligibility

  • Current IU Indianapolis students, faculty, and staff are eligible to apply. 
  • Students must have a faculty or staff member’s support and designate them as a project contact person on the application.

Deadlines

  • Application opens: December 20, 2024
  • Application closes: March 9, 2025
  • Awards announced: April 2025
